What this browser project offers
The captured landing shows a current map, checkpoints, a timer, personal best and world record slots, map change, settings, restart, a practice facility, and a command replay. The replay note says it is movement and view commands only, not a video recording.
How to surf, on the page: on a ramp, release W and hold the strafe key toward the face, and turn the mouse gently. Green is the start and gold is the finish.
Startup and controls
Open https://surfd.net. The page says no download is required. Click Play to capture the mouse. Escape opens the menu and also cancels a bind picker.
Printed controls: W A S D move or strafe, Space or wheel down jump, Shift duck, mouse look, Escape menu.
Settings include rebinding, optional turn binds, mouse sensitivity on a Source scale, field of view, camera interpolation, and auto bunnyhop. Practice mode can save and load a position and does not keep records. None of this was played for this directory.
